Article Description

Netting can also be fixed to steel beams or cable frame constructions without drilling by using high performance magnets. The neodymium iron boron system is used.

The cables are fed through the eyelets onto the magnets and then tensioned. At least two magnets per running metre cable should be used. The tension pressure is only allowed to have an orthogonal effect on the magnets.

The magnetic attachment solution is used if there is no other possibility with the facade. In practise, this is often the case with water-cooled facade constructions, where it is not possible to drill.

An alternative is to hang the netting with adhesive.

The magnets are delivered in units of 10 pieces.
